Dr Michael Menezes

Dr Menezes is a current GP in training and is also proudly working towards qualifying as a doctor for the Australian Army. He migrated to Australia from Zimbabwe in 2003. Having been born in a developing country, he is passionate about contributing to his community and enabling his patients to live healthier lives through primary and preventative healthcare.

For the last two years Dr. Menezes has gained valuable experience in Rockingham and Fiona Stanley Hospitals treating complex patients. He has gained diverse experiences through rotations in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery and other specialty rotations such as hematology.

He strongly believes in holistic health care whereby each patient is considered on an individual level. In doing so, he seeks to empower his patients to actively participate in their healthcare and work towards realistic goals.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Menezes enjoys training his German shepherd in the disciplines of tracking, obedience and protection. He also enjoys playing indoor soccer.

Dr. Menezes works Monday to Friday with one Saturday morning each month.

Dr Gladly Stephen

Gladly was born and raised in Melbourne, Victoria. She has also lived in India for some time as a teenager and into her early adulthood. She is therefore able to relate well with patients from various cultural backgrounds.
Gladly moved to Perth in 2018 and has since spent time in various speciality rotations such as General Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Oncology/Haematology, Paediatrics, Palliative Care, Emergency Medicine and Cardiology.
She began specialty GP Registrar training at the start of 2023.
Gladly enjoys all aspects of General Practice and strongly believes in providing patient-centred, holistic care.
She enjoys treating a variety of patients from newborns to elderly individuals. She provides consultations for all aspects of General Practice.

She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship between a patient and their general practitioner is essential to ensure good healthcare for the individual and she strives to establish the same. She believes that good communication is key and is always ready to listen to her patient’s concerns.

Dr Chandra Shilpa Thammineni

Dr Chandra Shilpa Thammineni, prefers to be called as Shilpa, graduated in
Medicine from India in 2009 and since has worked in various hospitals and
practices both in India and Australia. Shilpa has moved to Perth, Australia in
2014 and since then has worked in Western Australian hospitals gaining
extensive clinical experience by completing various hospital placements in the
core fields of Paediatrics, General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology,
Psychiatry, Geriatrics and Rehabilitation medicine.

Along with the vast 6 years of Australian Health care experience, Shilpa has also
accomplished various academic medical degrees in Australia, including Diploma
in Child Health (University of Sydney) and pursuing a Certificate in Women’s Health
and Diploma in sexual health.

She is happily married and blessed with two young kids. Shilpa loves cooking by
making new recipes and baking. During her free time, she enjoys spending
quality time with her family. traveling and exploring new places.

Shilpa is fluent in English, Telugu, and Hindi languages.

She is passionate about all areas of general practice and primary care, with
special interests in Women’s Health, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, and General
medicine.

She offers bulk billing Monday to Friday for all current Medicare cardholders for
Medicare rebated item numbers.

On weekends we are private billing, $75.00 for a standard consult. $110.00 for a
long consult, unless you have a concession card or are under the age of 16 years
old.

Dr Javan Waller
MBBS

Dr Waller has worked at various places including Armadale Hospital for many years gaining extensive experience before moving to Champion Medical Centre, Bertram.

He loves his work in the community providing comprehensive health care to people of all age groups. His professional interests include but are not limited to Men’s Health, Mental Health and Chronic Disease Management.

Dr Waller has lived in the City of Armadale for 20 years and has been involved in a variety of community groups.

For many years he has been involved in the Sport of Olympic Weightlifting, running his own club and coaching lifters to National and International Success – including Commonwealth Games Representation.

He has a long association with the Armadale Highland Gathering – managing the Heavy Events (Caber Toss etc.) for over 20 years. In recent years he has been instrumental in introducing women’s events at the Gathering. He still competes each year and enjoys regular visits to the Gym to prepare.

Dr Waller has a strong connection with local Fire Brigades – he previously worked on the front line with the Armadale Fire and Rescue Service attending Bush Fires, Property Fires and Motor Vehicle Accidents for over 15 years.

In his spare he like to visit the beach with his family and dogs and enjoys getting away for day trips or weekends in WA – especially to Country Towns holding annual shows or markets.

Dr Nay Lin
MBBS

Dr Lin is originally from Myanmar. He moved to Australia 11 years ago. He graduated in Medicine in 2007. He has been working in different hospitals including Armadale Hospital, Fremantle Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Rockingham Hospital, Peel Health Campus and so on for last 10 years. He gained experience in General Medicine, Geriatric and Rehabilitation Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Haematology, Nephrology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, and so on. He has also worked as a GP at Champion Medical Centre.

He always likes to keep fit and he spends his free time by working out, playing squash and table tennis. He enjoys reading and he likes to go camping every now and then.

Dr Katie Mitchell
MD, BBioMed,FRACGP

Dr Katie Mitchell grew up in Melbourne before completing medical school and residency in Queensland. She commenced GP speciality training in Sydney then moved to WA with the ADF to continue training.

Dr Mitchell has a special interest in women’s health, mental health and children’s health. She is also passionate about nutrition and fitness.
